I Preliminary Remarks
- The protection of your personal data is of the utmost importance to us. Below, we explain our privacy practices regarding the use of our website.
- The website www.waldantriebe.de (hereinafter the “Portal”) is operated by Wald Antriebe GmbH (Wald).
- When you use our digital services, Wald Antriebe (hereinafter also referred to as “we”) collects personal data from you at various points. We treat the collected data as strictly confidential and use it exclusively for the purpose communicated to you in each case. It goes without saying that your data is collected and processed in accordance with legal requirements, in particular the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act.
- Below, we explain what personal data we collect, how we protect your data, and how we use it.
II General Information
- You can use the portal at any time without registering or logging in.
- While you are visiting the portal, our web servers collect general technical information necessary for the operation of the site, such as browser type, screen size, and operating system, your device’s IP address, which pages on waldantriebe.de you have visited, as well as the time and duration of your visit.
III Transfer of Your Data to Third Parties
- As a general rule, we do not share the data collected about you when you use our digital services with third parties.
IV Cookies/Web Beacons
- When you visit the portal as a user, we—and, where applicable, other ad servers or partners—use cookies. These are small data packets that are stored on your hard drive via your browser. These cookies automatically expire one year after your last visit. Of course, you can also delete cookies at any time using the appropriate browser function. There, you can also configure how your browser should generally handle cookies. If you delete cookies or set your browser to reject them, this may affect the functionality of the portal.

Tracking pixels are small graphics on websites that enable log file recording and analysis and are frequently used for statistical evaluations. Tracking pixels contain only anonymous data.
V Google Analytics
- Our website uses Google Universal Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Universal Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” which are text files stored on your computer and other devices that enable an analysis of your use of our digital offerings. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of these digital offerings is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there.
- Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been enhanced with the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure that IP addresses are collected anonymously (IP masking). As a result, at our request, Google collects your IP address only in truncated form, which ensures anonymity and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your identity.
- The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with any other data held by Google.
- You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie by installing the following browser plugin:
