About us
Wald Antriebe is an ISO 9001:2015 certified solution provider for commercial vehicle technology and industrial technology. Our core business is the development, manufacture, and series delivery of windshield wiper technology for all types of commercial vehicles, especially buses and trains.

We offer a comprehensive range of components for wiper and washer systems, all manufactured in-house. With our proprietary Wald Antriebe products, we are able to provide our customers with state-of-the-art materials and innovative technologies.
For industrial customers, we offer a portfolio of DC motors, stepper motors, and linear actuators.
Our customers include nearly all major railway companies in Europe and Asia, as well as medium-sized manufacturers of buses, trucks, construction vehicles, cabins, and agricultural vehicles, and industrial companies from a wide range of sectors. Many of our products not only comply with automotive industry certifications (E1), but also with the latest European fire safety regulation for rail transport (EN 45 545), the EMC directive for rail vehicles (DIN EN 50121-3-2), and common military standards (DEF STAN 59, MIL STD 461, MIL STD 1275).
We are an official distributor for Valeo, one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers, and represent the SWF brand. We are also a distributor and solutions provider for Nidec, the world’s largest manufacturer of electric motors.
From the development of customer-specific solutions through in-house prototyping and series production at our own facility or at one of our suppliers’ plants, we offer customers a comprehensive service ranging from task definition to continuous “just-in-time” series delivery.
