Wald Antriebe is an ISO 9001 (2015), ISO 14001 (2015), and DIN EN 15085-2 certified solution provider for railway technology, commercial vehicle technology, and industrial technology, supporting customers from the project idea through 3D development to series production.

We develop innovative and customized technical solutions in the fields of windscreen wiper technology, switch technology, and servomotor technology. In our in-house prototype shop, we go through all phases from design study to functional technical prototypes as well as small and medium size serial production quantities. Components for larger production volumes are manufactured by our manufacturing partners in Europe and Asia and always assembled here in Germany.

Services

From the initial idea to series production

3D development

Our 3D developers create accurate digital 3D models directly in the vehicle model. Each component is individually adapted to the respective vehicle and the entire system is designed according to customer specifications.

Lifetime tests

We test the finished wiper system on the original windshields of the vehicles, fully sensor-monitored 24/7 in accordance with the current SAE standard, thus ensuring the durability of all components.

Prototype construction

In our in-house prototype workshop, we create functional and near-series prototypes of all components of our wiper systems.

Series production

All parts are manufactured either by us or by our production partners in Europe or Asia according to our specifications. The final assembly of the entire system, including EOL acceptance, always takes place at our premises in Germany.

History

Wald Antriebe was founded in 1999 as a commercial agency for industrial motors in Walsrode, northern Germany. Since then, we have continued to develop and are now a global leader in the design, development, and production of windshield wiper systems. Manufacturers of rail vehicles, military vehicles, buses, and other commercial vehicles worldwide rely on our expertise.

From the very beginning, we have pursued the goal of offering our customers the best technical solutions. We therefore attach great importance to the best materials, the best coatings, and the most robust designs. We know that clear visibility throughout the entire service life of the vehicles is of utmost importance for the safety of drivers and passengers.
